SWICK, John Paul Swick

He was called home to the Lord at the Stabler Centre Hospice in St. Catharines at the age of 62. He was surrounded by his loving family after courageously fighting cancer with remarkable strength. John was born to Donald Swick and Gladys Swick on May 23, 1963 in Welland, Ontario. He leaves his loving wife of 6 years Nancy (nee Field) Swick. Devoted father to son Daniel and daughter Kayla and cherished grandfather to Marcus. John is survived by his brother’s Peter, Jim and Tom Swick and sister Pam Janjac. John found great joy in the outdoor life with hunting and fishing on the water up north with his family and friends. A few years ago, we moved back to the north with the intention of enjoying that life again. Life threw us a curve but we are grateful for the short time we had together and the time he had spent in Niagara with his loving family by his side. In John’s last months of his life, he had found Jesus and I know I will spend eternity with him one day.
