SWIMM, Earl Vinal Swimm

Surrounded by the love of his family, Earl Vinal Swimm Sr. peacefully completed this part of his journey on July 9, 2026, in his 96th year. Earl was predeceased by his beloved wife, Florence Swimm, and his son, Earl Vinal Swimm Jr (Wendy Swimm).

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Lois Hibbs (Oliver Hibbs), Bernie Swimm (Tammy Swimm), Janice Mallette, and Timothy Smith (Valerie Smith). Earl is survived by his 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by his beloved sisters, Elsie Smith and Marjorie Hitchcock. Earl was predeceased by his twin brother Merle (Barb Swimm), his brothers Reuben, Philip, James, and his sisters Beulah, Mary, Hazel, and Elva.

Earl will be missed by his extended family and friends.

Earl and his brother Merle co-owned Swimm Brother’s Building Contractors. Much of their success came from the support and guidance of Mike Dubecki Homes.

Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, Ontario on Monday from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday July 14, 2026, at 11 am. The service will be live streamed starting at 10:50 am. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Brantford, Ontario. In Earl’s memory, donations made to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
