Peacefully passed away on Wednesday November 5, 2025 at Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House with his wife and sister by his side at the age of 78. Beloved husband, best friend and soul mate of Bernice for 58 years. Proud and devoted father of Robert and Wayne. Sadly missed and always loved by his sisters Marlaine (Jim) and Debbie (Mike). Predeceased by his brother Theodore and parents Theodore and Marion Valiquette. Loving grandpa of many dear grandchildren and one great grandchild. Always loved and remembered by many nieces and nephews along with many members of Bernice’s family including brother-in-law Jim (Diane), sister in laws Carol, Gale, Lorna (late Gerald) and Tracy (Tim).
Guests will be received at Carson Funeral Home – J.H. Lynn Chapel, located at 290 First St. in Midland (705) 526-6551 on Tuesday November 11, 2025 for Visitation from 10am until the time we celebrate his life in the chapel starting at 11am. A reception will follow the service onsite. Following the reception, burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Victoria Harbour.
