It is with saddened hearts that the family of Tyler Christopher Gerald Sossi announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 35. Loving Son of Gina McMahon and Gerald Smale. Cherished Brother of Garnet Sossi and Amanda. Treasured Uncle to Myles Sossi, Cheyenne, Ashton Jr., Noah and Christopher. Beloved nephew of aunts Monica, Carolyn, Paula Sossi and uncles Carlo and Dino Sossi.

Tyler was someone who always tried to look for the positivity in life, even during the darkest and most difficult moments. Although he struggled greatly with his mental health, he continued to find moments of hope and kindness in the world around him. His journey was not always easy, but his life was meaningful, and he mattered deeply to those who loved him.

As we remember him, we also hope his story reminds others that you matter, and you are never alone. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone—a family member, a friend, a professional, or someone you trust. You do not have to carry your burdens alone.

He has now found peace and has gone home to be with the Lord, where we pray he is finally free from the struggles that troubled him here on earth. May he rest peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord.

Family and friends will be received at SFH – McKenzie Blundy Chapel, 431 Christina Street North, Sarnia, on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
