Keith Raymond Vessie, of Hanover, passed away at Rockwood Terrace in Durham on Sunday, July 20, 2025. He was 87.

Born on September 21, 1937 in Durham, Ontario to the late David and Annie (nee Mountain) Vessie. Keith was a plumber and pipefitter for various employers and enjoyed working with Emke’s and at the Point. He was a huge supporter of the Salvation Army Food Bank.

Keith is survived by devoted wife Donna Ann (nee Schultz) Vessie of Hanover, with whom he would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 31st. Dear father of Wanda (David) Leah, Michele (Simon) Docherty and Angela Vessie (Bradford Kuhns). Special grandfather of Nicole (Mike), Mitchell (Alyssa), Jordan (Angie), Jasper and Lincoln as well as great grandchildren Hudson, Lennon and Jameson. He will be fondly remembered by David and Barry as well as his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents and all his siblings as he was the last remaining member.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 9-10:15am where a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am. Pastor Diane Drysdale officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover, Ontario.

The family wish to extend thanks to the wonderful care given to Dad at Rockwood during his time there.
