Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Listowel, in his 87th year, on April 2, 2026.
Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Shirley Waldie (nee Dolmage). Loving father to Donna Anderson, Shelly Waldie (Steve Reid), Stephen Waldie (died in infancy), and Rick Waldie (Yvonne). Stanley is missed by his grandson Craig Anderson (Rebecca), and step-grandchildren Austin Mitchell and Cassie Mitchell (Kris). Stanley is great-grandpa to Kylie Anderson, and Valerie Vanderschee.
Stanley is also survived by his sister Betty DeBoer, and sister-in-law Betty Schade (Larry). He is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Mary, his parents-in-law Harvey and Ruby Dolmage, his infant son, two sisters, a brother, a sister-in-law, and a nephew.Stanley bought the family farm where he was born from his father and took over the operation with great pride. He was a long time member of the Optimist Club, and the Ellice Swampers Snowmobiling Club. He played and coached baseball, and he loved curling, and lawnbowling. He had a knack for being good at anything he tried. He was much loved and will be deeply missed.

A private service will be held with a burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton.
