Linda Diane Ware

April 25, 1948 – February 8, 2026

Person in cornfield on a sunny day.

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Linda Diane Ware (nee Price) on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at the Huntsville Hospital in her 78th year.

Linda was the beloved wife of Mike Ware. Loving mother to Beverly Ware (Jim), and Corey Ware (Sandra). Cherished grandmother to Aura-Lynn (Joe), and Callie (Colby).

Proud great-grandmother to Emeri, and Declan.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Leslie and Dorothy Price, and siblings Leslie, Lorraine, David, and Dale.

She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Linda went back to school as a mature student to complete grade 12 and received her high school diploma. Her working career took her to opportunities in retail. Whether it was at the Pharmasave in town as a cosmetology consultant, or at Miss Lesture’s Bridal Shop to name a few, Linda was always there to help others. She became affectionately known as ‘Mom’ to many who had the fortune of knowing her.

Linda had a love for the outdoors, watching the birds at the feeder and the deer walking through the yard, the “Pink Lady Boat” and gardening. She also enjoyed baking and crafts. Above all else, Linda’s greatest love was her family, they meant everything to her.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

For those who wish, donations in Linda’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka
