It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Randall Watkins, surrounded by family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband and best friend of the Late Linda (Rees) Watkins (2006). Proud and loving father of his son, Leighton and daughter-in-law Karyanne Newton. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Madeline, Eve and Shelby. Dear brother of Bill Watkins and brother-in-law of Gloria. Special uncle to Paul, Rhian, Gareth, Nigel, Ian, Adrian, Jennifer and David.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12 noon – 2:00 pm. The Memorial Service for Bob will follow at 2:00 pm. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society may be made directly online or by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home.
