WATKINS, Rose Watkins

She of Bowmanville passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 83. Rose Watkins was born a cape bretoner from Sydney, Nova Scotia. The family moved to Ontario and that’s where she met the love of her life, Norman Watkins. From then on, he was her rock. As a cape bretoner, she loved to tell stories and always ended her conversations with a laugh. She was so proud of her store and was always designing new items to sell. She made a lot of friends from the knitting group and Trinity Pentecostal Church. Rose was always proud of her 2 girls and her granddaughter and all their accomplishments. Rose will be dearly missed by everyone who know her.

As per Rose’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a private ceremony at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
