With heavy hearts, the family of Jim (James) Wilson announces his passing.
Jim was a lifelong farmer, a man strong of character with a kind heart, whose playful spirit brought both joy and the occasional annoyance to those he loved — and who loved him in return. A devoted husband, beloved father, and cherished grandfather, he was a genuine joy to all who had the blessing of knowing him.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Debbie (née Clarke); daughters Tracy (Richard) and Karen (Jerry); granddaughters Kasha and Katie; brother John (Joan); and sister Anna (Carl). Jim is predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Alma Wilson.
Though his presence will be deeply missed, his warmth, humour, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Thursday September 25th, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm
Funeral service will be held in the Barnes Chapel Friday morning at 11:00 am.
Interment will take place at Claremont Union Cemetery. In memory of Jim memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
