LETSCHE, Karl Herbert - November 25, 1967 - May 6, 2022
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Karl on Friday, May 6, 2022.
After a courageous battle with cancer, Karl peacefully passed away at the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, Ontario.
He is survived by his mother, Diane; and siblings, Michael (Teresa), Karen (Matthew), Douglas (Jennifer).
Karl leaves behind his four children, Nicholas 14, Alexander 12, Simon 6, and Olive 4. Karl was predeceased by his loving wife, Tracy (mother of Nicholas and Alexander); and his father, Herb.
Karl was the beloved brother-in-law to Deanna and Jeff; and son-in-law to Bonnie.
Karl will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as his aunts and uncles, Doug and Kim, Claire and Dave, Elaine and Mel.
He will also be greatly missed by his many cousins and their families.
Karl loved to spend time with his family outdoors.
He spent his career working as a manager in a variety of different manufacturing plants; most recently Goodall in Collingwood, Ontario.
He left his mark in each of the factories where he worked. Karl had many hobbies, including restoring old cars, hunting, and collecting coins.
Thanks are due to the staff and volunteers at the Margaret Bahen Hospice who cared for Karl and our family during his illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Yorkminster Park Baptist Church 1585 Yonge Street, Toronto, on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket, Ontario.
Karl will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
