SANO, Michiko Theresa - August 5, 1935 - October 4, 2022
Passed away peacefully, at Sunnybrook Palliative Care, on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at the age of 87 years.
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia.
She will forever be remembered for her love of cooking and the volunteer work she has done over the years for the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
Beloved wife of Takao Edward Sano.
Loving mother to Brian (Diane), Christina (Pino), Judi (Bill) and Kevin.
Missed by her grandchildren: Caroline, Neil, Erik and Evan. She will be fondly remembered by her brother, Norman (Shirley); and sister, Pat (Archie).
Predeceased by her parents, Kiyoshi and Fumi Okawa.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visit with the Sano Family at Highland Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12:00–1:30 p.m. Following the Visitation, there will be a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m.
