Taylor MarionTAYLOR, Marion Lauretta Taylor  -  Former nursing assistant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (the Toronto Rehab Hospital), passed away April 22, 2024 at her home.

 

Born in Barbados to the late Fitzgerald and Ismay Taylor, Marion came to Canada in 1968 and spent more than thirty (30) years serving the needs of patients and their families.

 

Marion trained in culinary arts specializing in cake decorating in Barbados and Canada.

She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and making cakes for all occasions.

 

Marion was the loving sister of Mignon (George deceased) Barker, Elrick, Elviston (Sonia), and Edwin (Claudette) Taylor.

 

She was predeceased by brother, Calvin (Carmen) Browne; sister, Ernetta (Hugh) Pearce; and sister, Jean Taylor.

 

Beloved aunt of Carol-Ann and Dave Barker, Jennie (Ian) Lashley, Bonnie Pearce, Tracy, Karen, Glenn (Kate) and Duane Taylor, Lisa (Corey) Johnson, and Amanda (Adam) Forrest. Great-aunt of many, and faithful friend to many.

 

Visitation, Friday, May 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Funeral, Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. St. John's Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5. Interment to follow.
