Beloved son of the late Herbert Arthur and Mildred Irene Nixon; faithful brother of the late Joan Elizabeth and Gordon M. Clifford; uncle of D. Blair (Carolyn), Jill and her sons, Shawn and Justin.

Fondly remembered by cousins, Kevin and Gretchen Nutley and children; other cousins in Ontario and Great Britain.

Faithful Priest, colleague and friend of many Priests of the Church and other Clergy of the Christian, Jewish and Muslim Communities, and the late Father Gordon E. Smith and Canon William R. Thistle.

Father Nixon was deeply fond of people, assisting them in their journey of life.

For twenty years, Father Nixon enjoyed a fulfilling and challenging Pastoral Ministry as the Chaplain at the former Psychiatric Hospital, Brockville, and his Pastoral Duties continued in the community of Brockville, surrounding area and far beyond. Father Nixon was extremely fond of his numerous friends through the years, and many of their names recorded in his guest book, which he valued, in his home.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by the Funeral Service, which will be led by the Right Reverend William G.
