BRANIFF, Frederick William -
January 24, 1938 - April 20, 2024
Fred passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital at the age of 86,
he was predeceased by his parents, Herbert Braniff and Edith (Schrie) and his sister, Marilyn (Larry) Turtle.
Loving husband of Freda (Corkey) Braniff (57 years).
Father of Greg (Jennifer), Jonathan (Tanya) and Leah (Jeff).
Grandpa to Nathan, Hayley, Liam, Benjamin, Alex, Gwyneth Fred had a long successful career in Sales and Management with Kaye Motors, H.J. Heinz, Canadian Pittsburgh Industries/P.P.G. in Kingston, Winnipeg, Kitchener, Niagara Falls before founding his own business, Braniff Intercity Glass. Loved fishing and cars.
Visitation will be held on May 2nd, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, Oakville. Funeral service May 3rd at 1 p.m. in the Chapel with reception to follow.
