Harry Ramsay passed away peacefully, the day before his 97th birthday in Toronto.
He was a loving husband to the late Patricia "Pat" Ramsay for 65 years. Dear father to Joan (Chris), Louise (Dave), Grant (Tim) and Christine (Scott); proud grandfather to Andrew and James; and uncle to Anne, Sharon, Anne, Joy, Janet and Paul. He is sadly missed by extended family members in Canada and UK.
He was born in Grand Forks, BC, and raised in Vancouver.

Suse Botnick, beloved wife of Harold; dear sister of Ruth Witzemann and Ushi Schmidt; and sister-in-law of Arliene Botnick and Margaret Botnick.

EINSTEIN, Samantha - Award-winning, Toronto actor and musician, Samantha Gail Weinstein, 28, died peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones on May 14, 2023, at 11:25 a.m. in the Princess Margaret Hospital.
She will be missed the most by her sister, Sabrina Weinstein; her husband, Michael Knutson; best friend, Steph Lamers; aunt, Bev Tindall; her parents, David and Jojo Weinstein; and last but not least, the family's Russian Blue, Ziggy.

DART, Geraldine "Geri" Hilda (nee CARDIFF) - Peacefully, on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the age of 75, after a courageous battle with dementia.
She was predeceased by her cherished husband, Larry, whom she was married to for 41 years.

CHIRINIAN, Vergine - Vergine Chirinian passed away on May 11, 2023, in Toronto, just shy of her 104th birthday, surrounded by her immediate family.
Vergine was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey.
She was one of a handful of females to become a physician in Turkey.
After her marriage to Hagop Shirinian, she went on to live, practice medicine and raise a family in Beirut, Lebanon.

STADNIK, Ruth Lina Magdalina (nee GESSNER) - Ruth passed peacefully and joyfully, on May 11, 2023, with family by her side.
She was born in Werdau, Germany, on October 7, 1921, and came to Canada on March 13, 1949.
She travelled the world, gave of herself and attributes her long life to the ability to forgive others.
Ruth outlived all of her siblings, her husband and daughter-in-law.

Marg to her many friends, and Margie to her family, she was born in Hamilton, but spent most of her life in Toronto.

ABBOTT, Wilfrid Ross - Ross Abbott is dead (that is what our Ange wanted us to say).
He died on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Lindsay, at the age of 89, three months shy of his 90th birthday.
Ross was the beloved husband of Karen Abbott (née Tuckey). He was the much-loved father of Kirsten Abbott-West (Mike), Ken Abbott (Dawn Scott) and Keely Abbott (Neil MacKinnon). He was born in Toronto to parents, Wilf Abbott and Olive Legrow.

CRONE, Harvey - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Harvey Crone, in his 95th year.
He is mourned by his wife, Doreen; daughter, Jan; son, Paul (Elaine Walker); grandchildren, Katherine, Brenna, Jack and Nicole.
Harvey was an intelligent, determined and creative man with a great sense of humour who lived an independent and fulfilling life.
His passions included fishing and woodworking.

Linda instilled a sense of fun in her three children, Andrew, Jordan and Linsey.

After a long battle with a degenerative neurological condition (PSP), Denise passed away peacefully in hospital, surrounded by her loving friends and family.
She is survived by her mother, Ann; four children, Daniel (Vicki), Brian, Graham (Zoë) and Stephanie (Neil); and three grandchildren, Bradley, Christopher and Luca.
Born and raised in Toronto, Denise excelled in school at an early age.

PECCHIA, Claudio - On Sunday morning, May 7, 2023, Claudio lost his struggle with Melanoma and was finally freed of these earthly bonds.
Born in 1946 in Massa Martana, Italy, to Pasquale and Celesta (Verardi), Claudio came to Canada with his family in the late 50s to begin a new life in Toronto.
While his immigrant beginnings were difficult, he loved learning and became a teacher with the TCDSB, retiring in 2002 with over 30 years of service.
Teaching ESL students became his career focus, as he understood from experience the difficulties they faced in their new lives.

He was predeceased by Evelyn, his beloved wife and best friend for over 70 years.
Adored father to Ellen (Peter), Ian (Bernice), Ross (Lori) and Bob (Susan); and much- loved grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many.
For over 50 years, Roy had many roles with the Wexford Soccer Club, including being President.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place later this year.

KALANT, Levonah (nee COHEN) - Levonah Kalant passed away peacefully, on May 5, 2023, in her 100th year, surrounded by loved ones.
Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Norman Kalant, Lee is survived by her children, David (Karen), Jennifer (Roger) and Amelia (Dana); her beloved grandchildren, Matthew (Keira), Rebecca (Adam) and Isaac; "baby" sister, Zelda; and generations of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lee received a degree in psychology from the University of Toronto and many children were the beneficiaries of her practice, both in Toronto and Montreal.
