WRIGHT, Vivian A.  - Without just cause or fair warning, Vivian was taken from her friends and family Thursday, August 16, 2018.

Soon to be 91, Vivian is survived by her son Eric, her daughter Cathie, her son-in-law John and her grandchildren John, Jimmy and Laura.

Vivian was born in 1927 in Quebec and her beauty attracted many suitors.

She chose Fred Wright, a loquacious salesman from Toronto not long removed from service in the war and they married in 1946, settling in Thornhill.

They struggled with many issues brought on by a changing society, nevertheless their marriage was long and strong ending only with Fred's passing in 1991.

Soon after that Vivian left what had been her home for 35 years and moved to Stayner, ON to be close to her grandchildren.

Throughout her life Vivian was tolerant and respectful, thoughtful, considerate, honest with endless patience.

A wonderful mother, grandmother, role model and friend, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, Stayner, on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 2 to 3 p.m. for visitation. Cremation has taken place.

If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. To sign Vivian's Book of Memories, log on to www.carruthersdavidson.com "Don't worry Mom, we'll do the dishes in the morning.".
