Moffat ToddMOFFAT, Todd Charles Gavin - Passed way peacefully at his home in Orangeville on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with COPD.

Husband and best friend of Debby (nee Holtom) for over 41 years.

Cherished and devoted father of Hayley Moffat (Serge Kauzunovich) and Karli Ann Moffat (Jeff Caschera).

Adored brother of Ann Robinson (Bill Robinson), Jan Wyman (the late Bob Wyman) and Sandy McGinn (Paul McGinn).

Beloved uncle of the late Jacob Wyman, Tara Robinson, Jeff Robinson, the late Erin McGinn, Laura Legacy, Janet Ilene McGinn and Grace Clarise Charron.

Great-Uncle of Ember, Eleanor and Evelyn.

Dear brother-in-law of Julie Taylor (Brian Taylor) and the late Steve Holtom.

Predeceased by parents Blanche (nee Ray) and Charlie Moffat.

He will be dearly missed by many other extended family and friends.

Todd was a bright, funny, hard-working and dedicated man. His unique sense of humour and razor sharp wit stayed with him right up until his final days. He was an inspiration to many and a hero to most. There will never be another man like him. He lit a flame in all our hearts that we will carry with us forever. A wonderful son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. We will all have our own unique 'Todd' memories that only he could have left us with.

A special thank you to West Park Healthcare Centre for their dedicated care during Todd's illness. The Moffat family also greatly appreciates the sincere care received from Bayshore HealthCare who made it possible for Todd's wish to die at home with his family possible. The nursing care we received from Leanne and Jocelyn was incredible. The nurse who really touched our hearts and carried us through was Yasmin Rizzi. Without her, none of us would have had the courage and support needed to get through this process.

Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Todd's Life will be held sometime in the coming weeks at In Memoriam in Mono. Details will be shared once confirmed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to West Park Healthcare Centre (www.westpark.org) would be greatly appreciated.
