Badeski AudreyBADESKI, Audrey Alice (nee Roe)  -  On August, 22, 2018 at Amica Bayview Gardens, in her 89th year.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of more than 27 years, Raymond Badeski, and her sisters Eileen and Jeanette.

Loving mother of Paul (Cathy), Claire and Ellen (Mark Ross). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Laura, Sarah, Matthew and Andrew, and sister-in-law Phyllis Badeski.

Loving Aunt to her family back in England, Andrew (Diane) and Jane (Trevor).

She will be greatly missed and always remembered for her kind and gentle spirit.

Born on March 7, 1930 in London, England, Audrey was an independent spirit with a zest for life.  Trained as a Nurse at Barts in London, Audrey worked at hospitals in England, France and the U.S.  She travelled extensively as a Flight Attendant with Trans-Canada Airlines before meeting Ray and starting a family in Montreal.

Audrey and Ray moved to Toronto with their young family in 1970.  As was her way, Audrey quickly made many new friends through the Brebeuf Ladies Guild and Blessed Trinity Parish.  An avid tennis and bridge player, Audrey spent considerable time with her many friends at the Bayview Golf and Country Club.

In recent years Audrey has been wonderfully cared for by her PSWs at C-Care, the staff at Bayview Amica Gardens and North York General Hospital.  We appreciate the kind support they provided Audrey and our family.

Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane funeral home, Toronto, on Friday August 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Parish, 3220 Bayview Avenue, Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or North York General Hospital would be appreciated.
