LIZZI, Vincenzo - God called Vincenzo Lizzi peacefully on Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at the age of 74. Vincenzo passed away after battling lung disease for the past few years.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife Ida, just shy of their 49th year of marriage. He is reunited in heaven by his parents, Giuseppe and Teresa.
Cherished by his 5 children and their spouses, Josie (Giuseppe), Joe (Carolina), Carlo, Debora (Mike), Maria (Ronnie) and dearly missed by his 3 sisters Immacolata, Rosa, and Maria including his brothers-in-law.
Proud Nonno to 9 grandchildren Pamela, Vince Jr., Cosimo, Anthony, Samantha, Marco, Matteo, Siena, and Alessandro. He will be held dear in the hearts of his numerous nieces and nephews and many family and friends.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Rd. Woodbridge, ON) on Wednesday August 29th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday August 30th at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge.
Vincenzo Lizzi’s wish was to be brought back to his home town of Siderno Marina, R.C. Italy where he will be laid to rest at Cimitero Di Siderno Marina.
If so desired, donations in memory of Vincenzo Lizzi may be made to the Ontario Lung Association.
