MICONE, Ugo - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ugo at the age of 70 after a long journey with cancer. Ugo passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 26, 2018 surrounded by his family.
He will be fondly remembered by the people he loved most: his wife of 45 years, Teresa, their two daughters, Erika and Anita, Son-in-Law James, and grandchildren Iain and Hannah.
He will be missed by his family and the friends whose lives he touched.
Ugo was a kind, loving and generous person whose greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.
Friends and family are invited to attend a gathering at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, Markham on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of life service will take place on Friday in the Chapel at 11 a.m.
Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the palliative care team at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their care and compassion.
