Fraser PeterFRASER, Peter Stanton, FCA,   - 1934 - 2018 Peter died peacefully and surrounded by family, at home in Niagara Falls, Ontario, on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

The cause of death was prostate cancer.

Peter is survived by his sons from his first marriage to Janet, Paul (Danielle) and Jeffrey (Tracey), his grandchildren Scott, Luke, Michaela, Brandon and Abby and his sisters Linda (Bert) and Mary (Jack).

He leaves his wife Dawn and her daughters Lisa (Clarke) and Vicki (Marsha).

Preceded in death by his parents William and Vivian Fraser of Thorold, ON.

Peter completed his primary and secondary education in Thorold and qualified as a CA in 1959 in Toronto. After leaving public practice in 1960, he worked at the Toronto Western Hospital for a year before joining the staff of the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) for the next 33 years.

At the time of his retirement in 1994, he had been the first non-physician to become CEO of the OMA. Upon retirement, he moved to Bobcaygeon, ON and immersed himself in volunteer activities at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, ON. He served as Chairman of the Board from 2002 to 2005.

At Peter's request, he has been cremated and will be buried in the family plot at Port Stanton, ON at a later date.

A separate celebration of life event will be planned for the same day in Port Stanton.
