FORESTO, Dante Foresto - God called our father Dante Adamo Foresto suddenly, on September 28, 2018 at the age of 85, in Maple, Ontario.
He was preceded by his loving wife of 46 years, Antionella Foresto.
Dante was born in Noventa Di Piave to Luigi Foresto and Ida Battistini on October 13, 1932. He grew up in Pravisdomini, and moved to Toronto in 1953.
He married Antoniella Sallese on February 17, 1955, and worked hard to support his family, predominantly as a tile and terrazzo setter. He later became a proud business owner in the flooring industry, when he became part owner of Con-Tile Limited.
He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his daughter, Ida, (Noris), sons Claudio and Paul (Suzanne ), loving grandchildren, Katherine, (German ), Michelle (Adam ) Nunzia , (Alessandro), Dante, Aidan and Ronan.
He will be deeply missed, but his memory and love will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and many friends, and continue to be passed on through generations.
Visitations will take place at the De Marco Funeral Visitation Centre, Woodbridge on Monday, October 1, 2018 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 9:30 pm at St. David’s Church at 2601 Major Mackenzie Drive, Maple, Ontario. Entombment to follow at Toronto, Ontario.
