VALENTE, Nadia - Resting peacefully and rejoined with her loved ones, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nadia Valente on September 29th, 2018. She was surrounded by family and loved ones.
Reunited with her husband John, father Nando, sister Berta and brother-in-law Nick.
She leaves behind her children Melanie (Shawn), Raquel and her mother Antonia. Cherished Nana to Beth Anne, Mary Jane, Pia Rose and Jasiah Raekwon.
Survived by her brother-in-law Saturno, sister Alda and brother Orazio (Shirley). Greatly missed by sister-in-law's Rosa (Mario), Gina (Rocco) and Romana (Rick). Forever in the hearts of many nieces and nephews: Norma (Nick), Anthony (Barbie), Daniela (Giuseppe), Umberto, Joey, Michael, Nadia, Steven (Amanda), Alessia and Bianca.
Visitation will be held at Scott funeral home, Woodbridge Chapel, 7776 Kipling Ave., Woodbridge, On, on Monday October 1st, from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass at St. Roch Roman Catholic Church, 2889 Islington Avenue, Toronto, On., on Tuesday, October 2nd, at 10am. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Concord.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations can be made to the Margaret Bahen Hospice.
