Dekker LienDEKKER, Celina ‘Lien’ (née van den Bergh) - Born in Amsterdam, Holland; passed away after her brave battle with cancer on September 30, 2018. 

Predeceased by her husband John ‘Jan’ Dekker (2013) to whom she was married to for almost 63 yrs. 

The family is comforted knowing Celina and John are once again together.

Dear mother of Vic (Cheryl), Clark (Lynn) and Brian. 

Predeceased by her son Ron and his wife Gail, as well as daughter in-laws Pennie and Gladys. 

Oma to Ray (Nienke), Jenepher and the late Don.  

Over Oma to Mara and Joah.

Daughter of the late Maria Catharina (née van den Bergh) and her late husband’s Abraham Wagenaar and Henricus Joahan Kool. 

Celina was the youngest of her 6 predeceased half siblings and their spouses.

Celina ‘Lien’ will be forever remembered by her family, extended family and dear friends here in Canada, USA, The Netherlands, Belgium and China.

The family would also like to give special thanks to Dr. Jim, CCAC (Linda), Nurse (Theresa), PSW (Kim) and the Staff at Cedarvale Lodge during her stay at home and to Dr. Baguio and many other doctors and nurses for their care and compassion during her stay at The Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, ON.

At Celina’s request, there will not be a visitation or funeral service. 

If desired, donations made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
