Parker PhyrnePARKER, Phyrne Aileen - Passed away on Thursday September 27, 2018 after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis.

Daughter of the late Maurice and Ann Parker.

Beloved mother of the late Al Cameron, Frank Cameron his wife Donna and Paul Cameron his wife Michelle.

Loving Grandmother to Selina, Cassandra, Damian and Adrienne.

Phyrne worked her way up from a clerk in the 60’s to upper management in the Insurance and Financial industries before her retirement.

After retirement, Phyrne got busy and held multiple positions in different organizations, including, but not limited to; Past President of Mensa Canada, District Governor of Toastmasters International, Lieutenant Governor Education and Training for District 60 Toastmasters and a Board Member of the Academy for Lifelong Learning and a Committee chair for the Academy.

Phyrne will be remembered for her competence, her sharp mind, her love of mentoring people and her compassion and openness to new experiences.

Finally, she will be remembered by her granddaughters for her awesome cow racing abilities.

Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes (Dufferin), Toronto on Friday, October 5th, 2018 6:00pm - 9:00pm and on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 10:00am - 12:00pm. The service will take place in the chapel at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations in Phyrne’s memory to the Canadian Amyloidosis Support Network.
