WILLIAMSON, Mel  - May 4, 1939 – October 30, 2018

Williamson MelIt is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Mel Williamson on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Toronto General Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was predeceased by his Mother and Father, Elizabeth and Lindsay, brother Murray, sisters Marjorie, Lorraine, Betty and Doris.

Loving husband of 54 years to Liz, devoted father to Karrie (Sean) O'Flaherty, Kelly (Ken) Sanders, Laurie (Andy) Richardson, loving grandfather to Lukas, Regan, Jack, Madison, Piper, Jane and Peter.

A favourite uncle loved by his many nieces and nephews.

Mel will be fondly remembered for his love of life and family, his wonderful sense of humour, his passion for fishing, skeet shooting, archery, canoeing and his love of the outdoors.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, November 23rd, at 11 a.m. at Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Ave., Don Mills. Visitation 10 a.m.

The family would like to acknowledge the compassion and care Mel received in the CVICU at Toronto General Hospital with special thanks to Doctor Yau.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by his family.
