Brienza VincenzoBRIENZA, Vincenzo - (1932 – 2018) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Brienza on December 27, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Vincenzo was a devoted husband of nearly 60 years to Elena, loving father to Luisa (Aldo), Nikki (Bruno) and Enzo, proud grandfather of Daniel, Leah, Alesia and Oriana, and adoring brother to Domenica (Domenico).

He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Graziano Chiocchio and sisters-in-law Teresa Chiocchio and Maria Grazia (predeceased by Anthony Chiocchio), and is predeceased by Domenico and Rachele Chiocchio.

Vincenzo spent his youth happily in Italy and took great pleasure in his career as a tailor, which he successfully established here in Toronto.

Throughout his life, Vincenzo enjoyed such simple things as dancing, travelling, and spending time with dear friends. He will be remembered both for his enthusiasm for life and captivating ways of sharing stories of his experiences. He will be deeply missed by all who had the fortune to know him.

We would like to express our gratitude to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses at Humber River Hospital and Sunnybrook as well as PSWs from St. Elizabeth and the LHIN team.

Visitation will take place at DeMarco Funeral Home, Toronto, on December 30 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm. Funeral mass will be held at 10am on December 31 at St. Wilfrid’s Catholic Church, 1675 Finch Ave. W., Toronto. Entombment will take place at Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
