Townsend JuniaTOWNSEND, Junia Fay - Junia Fay Townsend, nee Mackenzie of Toronto, ON, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018.

Junia was a faithful and active member of the Scarborough Seventh Day Adventist Church; who also enjoyed gardening, sewing and entertaining.

She was preceded in death by her third child, Millan.

She was born to Eunice Mackenzie and Stephen Cecil Mackenzie on January 20, 1947 in Mount Pleasant,  Jamaica. Left to honour and cherish her memory are her sons, Geoffrey (Marlon) Miller; Earl (Bobby) Miller; and Andrew Michél (Tommy) Thomas.

Also survived by three grandchildren; Meredith, Tianna, and Melinda Miller, eight siblings; Shelia Mackenzie, Jacqueline Walsh, Sonja Anderson, Maxine Stamp, Zena Mackenzie, Michael Mackenzie, Daliah Mackenzie-Heron, Paul Mackenzie, her best friend Eslin Jefferson of multiple decades, the wonderful Bill Godson and many extensive family and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 10th, 2019 from 10 am - 11 am at Scarborough Seventh-day Adventist Church at 4350 Lawrence Avenue E, Scarborough, with burial to follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery 2505 Brock Road North, R.R. #1, Pickering, Ontario -  Section 10, Lot 1123

Following the interment at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, refreshments will be served at Scarborough Seventh-day Adventist Church. Arrangements entrusted with Giffen-Mack funeral home, Danforth Ave., Toronto.
