GILKS, Audrey Joan (nee COOK) - Peacefully in her sleep at the age of 85, on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Hearthstone on the Lake, Burlington.
Predeceased by her beloved son Daniel Thomas Latten (2014).
Much-loved grandmother of Tamara and Chris Bratty and great-grandmother of Kayla, Ava, Caroleena, Jack, Luke and Lucky.
Predeceased by her first husband Dennis Latten, second husband Eric Gilks and her partner Don Mahoney.
She will be lovingly remembered by Don's daughter Luanne (John) Bouctsis and grandchildren Malary, Kiki and Peter.
Survived by her sister Marion Gilmour (Leroy).
Predeceased by her brothers Gene Cook and Leonard Cook.
Audrey will be fondly remembered by her many friends, including Theresa Mahoney, Ruth Chupa, Jenna McCormack and all the staff of Hearthstone.
Visitation will be held at Kitching Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home, Waterdown, on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 12 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Private interment.
