PICKARD, Lola Loretta - Lola passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the age of 85.
Lola was born in Toronto to William and Catharine (Watson) Noon, on June 28th, 1933.
She was married on May 1st, 1954 to Theodore Pickard.
She is predeceased by her husband and beloved older sister, Esther.
She will be missed by the Terry Fox Community and her friends at Gildas Club for her tireless charity work. Her family thanks the dedicated staff at RVH for their compassionate care.
She was a devoted mother to Mary Lou Smith (George), Anne Marie Pickard, Wendy MacKenzie (Timothy), William Pickard, and Edward Pickard (Lisa); a loving grandmother to Erin (Jaime), Aimee (Alex), Charles; Melissa (Natalie), Alexander (Lisa), Nicholas; Colin, Matthew; Sarah, and Emily and treasured great-grandmother ("G.G.") to Alura, Isabel, Logan, Charlea, Grace, and Jackson. Her memory will be cherished by family and friends.
Friends may call at Adams Funeral Home, Barrie, on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church (65 Amelia Street, Barrie), on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 10 o'clock a.m.
Memorial donations to L'Arche Daybreak would be appreciated by the family.
