SADOWY, Dan - With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Dan Sadowy at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre with his family by his side, on Monday, January 7, 2019, at the age of 79.
Beloved husband to Wendy Sadowy for 57 years. Loving father of Marianne (David), Geoff (Linda) and Allan (Lynette).
Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Carolyn, Erik (Melanie), Justin, Dylan and Caitlyn. Great-grandfather of Maia, dear brother to Evelyn and uncle to Tanya and to Kevin (Jennifer) and their children Emily, Abigail and Samantha.
He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
The family wishes to extend appreciation to David Brown for all the special care he unselfishly gave to Dan over the years and to the staff at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre for their compassionate care.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, Weston, on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 p.m., tribute at 3:15 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre or Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
