YOUNGMAN, Beatrice 'Bebe' - With heavy hearts we announce that our beloved mother, Bebe Youngman passed away surrounded by family on Friday, April 12, 2019, a mere 35 days after her husband.
Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Youngman for 64 years.
Loving mother of Andrea Levine and partner David Shore.
Loving mother of the late Richard Youngman, and loving mother and mother-in-law of Mark Youngman and Stephanie Black.
Devoted bubbie of Maxine, Laila and Chloe.
Our mother was civic minded, and amongst her many contributions, Bebe was involved in various community projects for the city of Guelph. Bebe was a proud contributor and worked on the event planning committee for the Guelph Sesquicentennial.
One of her proudest accomplishments was as the founder and president of the Guelph Music Club. For almost twenty years they brought outstanding musical performances and concerts to Guelph, which was sorely in need of a musical presence. Additional money from the Guelph Music Club was donated to the University of Guelph to fund a music scholarship for deserving students.
Bebe taught piano for many years, and as her roster of students will attest was a exemplary teacher. In addition, Bebe was active as a volunteer at the Guelph General Hospital for many years and was also a very active member of the Beth Isaiah Synagogue and worked tirelessly with Hadassah, organizing numerous charity events, including art auctions to raise money for the synagogue and for Israel.
Always elegant and well dressed, Bebe was a fabulous cook and entertainer. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

A graveside service will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Shiva visits Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 8:30 p.m. Shiva visits will conclude Wednesday evening at 9 pm.
