Duhamel JackDUHAMEL, Jack Joseph - (9 January, 194717 April, 2019)

Jack passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 at Scarborough General Hospital with his loving family by his side.

He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of over 50 years Linda (Mayhew) Duhamel, his devoted children Craig (Dionne) and Danielle Duhamel and 2 loving grandsons Andre and Cameron Duhamel and many nieces, nephews and long lasting friendships.

Jack was born on January 9th, 1947 in New Liskeard, Ontario to Ovide and Estelle (Grignon) Duhamel.

After a few years of leaving home as a young adult, his epic love story with Linda began in Toronto where they married and raised their family. He was proud to work for Bell Canada as a splicer for over 25 years.

Jack & Linda devoted most of their time to the Kinsmen Club of Canada where they are lifetime members for all the years of service. He made many friends through the Kinsmen whom he kept in contact with. Jack was an avid Boston Bruins and Toronto Blue Jays fan, which he passed down to his son and grandsons.

His quick wit, dry humour, charm and warm smile will be greatly missed. If you were lucky enough to get a hug from Jack, you know it was sincere and full of love.

Join us for his celebration of life on Saturday, April 27th, at 1:00 p.m. at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave East, Scarborough, with a Celebration of Life to begin there at 2:00 p.m.  Reception to follow at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated for Epilepsy Ontario.
