CAREY, Michael Blase - Passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the age of 95 in Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre-Veteran Centre.
Loving father of Pauline (Terry Marquis) and Dianna (Larry Snow).
Cherished grandfather of Casey Marquis (Tina Jesso), Sabrina (Tom Knez), Cassandra (Matt Kusch) and Christopher.
Survived by his sister Theresa De Lorenzo.
Michael was a private but honest, compassionate and hard-working man. He made other’s laugh without even trying. His spirit and presence will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
A WWII Veteran, he proudly served his country and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
Family and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Saturday, July 6th, 2019 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. A reception will follow. Private cremation will take place.
