NUDO, Santo - God called Santo peacefully on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at the age of 97.
He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Emilia.
Cherished by his dear children, Livia (Costantino Giraldi), Ida (Michele Giraldi), Mario (Margaret) and Anna Maria (Domenico Commisso).
Proud Nonno to Francesco (Lisa), Antonio (Laura), Lilliana (David), Salvatore, Francesco, Daniela, Emilia, Lisa (Don), Julia (Brad), Francesco, Giuseppe (Isabella) and Emmanuele (Steve). Adoring great-grandfather to 25 and great-great-grandfather to 2.
Santo will always be remembered by his sisters in Italy Gilda and Emilia. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday July 6, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7).
If so desired, donations in memory of Santo may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice .
