LAGANA, Maria - God called Maria peacefully on Monday September 9, 2019 at the age of 85.
She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Pasquale and her daughter Tina. Cherished by her dear children, Francesco, Tony (Domenica), Giuseppe and son-in-law Nick Masciotra. Proud Nonna to Anthony (Kayla), Daniela (Mark), Justin, Bradley and Ryan. Adoring great-grandmother to Logan.
Maria will always be remembered by her brother in Italy, Antonio. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 13, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave.).
If so desired, donations in memory of Maria may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the SickKids Foundation.
