Daniele LinaDANIELE, Pasqualina 'Lina' - An untimely death on Sunday, September 22, 2019 has brought about an inconsolable sorrow with the passing of our beloved mother, 'Lina' Daniele.

A woman who embodied grace, kindness and genuine love are among the traits she possessed. Known for her deep love of family and cherished friendships, she always showed unconditional love for all. She saw beauty expressed in different forms, but most especially felt through her love of flowers, gardening, and being outdoors.

Our mother was an active member of her religious community and found great pleasure in participating in regular activities through the church and our cultural club. Pasqualina was well known for her beautiful voice and found music to be an integral part of her day and activities.

Lina was also well-known for her 44-year history as a confectioner with Nestle Canada and more specifically, being instrumental with the production of Smarties candies. She was also well-known to be present in every facet of her children’s (and by extension grandchildren’s) lives; attending hockey games; figure skating competitions, school productions and more in her spare time.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Antonio. Their children Vince (Mary); Mario (Julie); & Sandra (Tony). She was given the gift of becoming a grandmother at the young age of 42 with the first of 5 beautiful princes (Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Alexander and Cairo) and 1 beautiful princess (Lauren).

She also leaves behind her mother Maria; is predeceased by her father Giuseppe. Her siblings Frances (Joe); Carmela (Eros); Frank (Tina) and Dante (Anna). She is loved by her extended family to include brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and a large number of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Needless to say her family was extensive and her love for them, profound.

When remembering Lina, keep the smile she always wore close to your heart, the song she would always sing and the generosity of spirit she shared. Ti vogliamo tanto bene mamma e non ti dimentichiamo mai. Sleep easy, you’re free now.

Visitation will be held at DeMarco Funeral Home, Toronto on Tuesday, September 24th, 2019 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm and on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The service will take place at St. Norbert's Roman Catholic Church, 100 Regent Road, Toronto on Thursday, September 26th, 2019 at 10:00am.
