Jeronimo JerryJERONIMO, Jeremias - Peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the age of 86.

He will be reunited with his wife Madalena and his predeceased family and siblings.

Jeremias who was also known by many as “Jerry” who will be cherished by his children Nancy and Henry (Inara).

Jeremias is a proud grandfather to Nickolas and he will always be remembered by his Brother Eduardo and he will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.

Jeremias immigrated to Canada in the early 1960’s where he married his wife Madalena whom they shared over 50 years of marriage together. Their loved sparked the welcoming of their 2 children and would eventually bless him with a grandson Nickolas who he loved so much.

For anyone that knew Jeremias or “Jerry” would know he had great adoration for children and would relate that love for the youth to his religious beliefs and often referred to a verse in the bible that states “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

Jerry’s many hobbies included photography, woodworking, and spending time at the family cottage with his loved ones, he was always a kind hearted person with strong family values making him very family oriented especially with his love for his grandson. Jeremias was a strong person and he will be forever missed by those who knew him.  

Visitations will take place at the Cardinal Funeral Home, Bathurst Chapel, Toronto on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, 15 Grace Street, Toronto. Interment to follow.
