HAMILL, Patrick Oliver - Patrick Oliver Hamill passed away peacefully after a courageous battle, with family at his side, September 30, 2019, at the age of 77.
He was born on July 8, 1942 in Gilford, County Down, Northern Ireland to Teresa (née Byrne) and Bernard Hamill. He rejoins his beloved wife Bernadette (née Eardly) and his parents in Eternity.
Patrick will be deeply missed by his daughter Carolyn; sister Mary; brother Brian (Bernadette); as well as his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation for Patrick will be held at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, in Scarborough, Ontario, on Thursday, October 3rd between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
His funeral mass will be held at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 4179 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough on Friday, October 4th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 2700 Kingston Road, Scarborough, Ontario.
For those who wish, donations may be made in Patrick's memory to the Palliative Care Unit, care of the Sunnybrook Foundation.
