HAJANDRAINY, Annette “Harry” - Died at Garden Court Nursing Home on September 30, 2019 in Etobicoke, Ontario due to complications following a chest infection. She was 68.

Ms. Hanjandrainy was born on November 25th, 1951 in Antananarivo, Madagascar to her parents, Agnes Raharivelo and Ignace Andriantsimietry. She graduated from the University of Antananarivo, University of Leipzig, Glendon College at York University with a Masters Degree in Linguistics

She dedicated her life to teaching English and German in various lycées across various cities in Madagascar. Ms. Hanjandrainy was fluent in 7 languages and inspiring creativity and dedication in others was her lifelong goal. 

Ms. Hajandrainy is survived by her sisters, Dr. Annyck Ratiarson, Anny Juliette Andriantsimietry, Jeannie Rasoloarisoa and Voahangy Rahahaly; her sisters-in-law Marie Andriantsimietry and Hyacynthe Andriamandimby; her brother Tiburce Andriantsimietry; and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and family members.

A memorial will take place on October 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Party Room, Waterford Towers Condos, 2083 Lakeshore Blvd W. Etobicoke, Ontario. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ms. Hanjandrainy’s' life. In parallel, a mass will take place at the Chapelle Aumonerie Catholique St. Luc Hopital, Befelatanana, Antananarivo, Madagascar.
