WILLIAMSON, Eileen Hilda - Passed peacefully in her 96th year at Grove Park Home, Barrie on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

Dear wife of the late William E. Williamson.

Loving mother of Ed (June), Ron (Bette), and Ken (Ginny) and grandmother to Kyle, Brett, Lisa (Jason), Myles, and Will.

Predeceased by granddaughter, Julie.

Great-grandmother of Charlie and Daphne Shuttleworth, and Rileigh Williamson.

Fondly remembered as Auntie Ei by all of her many nieces and nephews.

Eileen was born in Toronto and moved to Markham at an early age. She married in 1943 and after the war, she and Bill built their home on 16th Ave where Williamson Road is now. Eileen, Bill and family spent many happy years there. Eileen was always happiest with family and friends celebrating holidays and special events with grand feasts and lots of laughter. She will always be remembered by her boys and grandchildren for always being there for them and ensuring that every opportunity was available to them.

She enjoyed her retirement years at the cottage on Georgian Bay where many happy hours were spent, and the cherished memories she created are greatly appreciated and remembered by all of us. Eileen will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Family will receive visitors on Tues, Oct. 15th at 10am with service in the chapel at 11am at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, Markham.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Grove Park Home (234 Cook Street, Barrie, L4M 4H5) would be appreciated.
