Waters DonaldWATERS, Donald Gordon  -  Passed away peacefully at the Parkland on the Glen, Mississauga, on October 28, 2019, at the age of 89.

Don had Parkinson’s for the last few years of his life. Though he was confined to a wheelchair, he always had a sweet smile.

Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

Don was born in Toronto on May 23, 1930; he attended North Toronto Collegiate High School, where he met the love of his life, Aileen MacRae. Don and Aileen were married for 64 years. Together, they raised four children and later on liked to spend time with their grandchildren. Don loved the outdoors, he played tennis, badminton, bridge, pickleball and entertained many with his wonderful sense of humour.
Don and Aileen enjoyed travelling, the theatre and family events.

He is survived by his children/partners: Donna (Jim) Green, Rick (Donna) Waters, Steve (Sylvia Scott) Waters , Lauren (Sophie Delaigue) Waters. He was a proud grandfather to Billy, Jeffrey, Jason, Ryan, Shayne, Roger and John, and a great grandfather to Hannah and Kai.

Don had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humour. He was the core of our family and was extremely supportive. Don will be sadly missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers donations may be may to Parkinson Canada, or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

The family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff at the Parkland on the Glen and his caregivers for their kind and loving care.
