Gioia ManuelaGIOIA, Manuela - Died surrounded by her family on January 13, 2020, at Brampton Civic Hospital after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer.

She was born on November 20th, 1962 in Berlin, Germany to Ingrid and Hans Peiper, and was the eldest of three siblings.

She came to Canada in 1987 to join her husband Tony, and start a family.

She worked for several years at the Toronto Pearson Airport, where she did what she loved, meeting and connecting with new people each day.

She greatly enjoyed reading, writing, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends and family. She loved the rain, autumn, and winter.

Manuela was a devoted wife and mother, and always worked hard to ensure the best for her family.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Tony, her children Sebastian and Isabell, family, friends, and co-workers.

Visitation will be held at Brampton Funeral Home, Brampton on January 15th from 2:00 PM - 04:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 09:00 PM and on January 16th from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. The service will take place in the chapel at 11:00 AM.

If desired, donations in Manuela's memory may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
