CERQUA, Gennaro James "Jimmy" - James Cerqua 'Jimmy' (mother Antonietta Cerqua, father Luigi Cerqua) passed away peacefully in the presence of his two loving children at the age of 69 on February 12th, 2020 at Belleville General Hospital.
Jim was predeceased by beloved wife Debby Cerqua (nee Pinto).
Jim will be sadly missed by children Brett and Natalie, daughter-in-law Melinda, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Anderson, Charlotte, Emelina and Oliver.
Late sister-in-law Donna, sisters Maria (late Vince), Josie (Gigi) and Margo (Joe) and brothers Domenic (Jean), Larry (Sheree) and Michael (Laura), nieces and nephews Shelli (Frank, Olivia, Daniela and Marcus), Adriana, Anthony (Bethzaida), Brittany, Chelsea, Christina (Chris), late Ivana (Kenny), Jay (Nicole), Jeremy, Jonathan, Joey (Noelle), Louie (Katie), Luke and Robert.
Jim’s children would like to thank all those who helped support him over the last 11 months.
Visitation at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, Scarborough on Wednesday February 19th at 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Additional visitation from 10-11am on Thursday February 20th. Service on Thursday February 20th at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ontario Lung Association.
