VAUTOUR, Jacqueline Emily - Passed peacefully with family by her side on February 14, 2020 in Mississauga, Ontario.
She is survived by her adoring husband and best friend of 65 years, Joseph Emery Vautour. Loving mother to Emery John (Maryanne), Annie, William, Leona (Jim).
Caring Grandmother of Jamie, George, Steven (Leonor), Amber, April, Kristen, Emery Jr. and Genevieve.
She will be greatly missed by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She will also be deeply missed by her sister in law Corrine Maillet. Jacqueline is predeceased by her parents William and Leona Bland (McMann), her brother Douglas and sister Valerie, and her grandsons John Paul and Christian.
Jacqueline spent over 30 years as a Crossing Guard, most recently assisting the children at St. Edmund Separate School in Mississauga. She very much enjoyed helping all the children get to school safely and took great pride in her work. She was cared and loved for by everyone she met crossing her corner.
Jacqueline’s family would like to send a special thank you to Julie, Lorraine and the rest of the nursing staff at Trillium Health Partners-Mississauga Hospital for their compassionate care over the past few months.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Trillium Health Partners-Mississauga Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
