GODIN, Thelma Marie - With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother/Grandmother, Thelma Marie Godin, aged 80 years, on Saturday, March 14, 2020.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Hubert Godin and son Gilbert Godin.
Thelma will be sadly missed by her children: Robin (Rhonda), Sharon (Trevor) and Lynn (Vincent), Grandchildren: Natalie, Kimberly, Julia, Alexis, Jeremy, Tristan and Renee. Sisters: Gillian, Dorian, and their families and her many friends.
Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, entire staff and volunteers at the Cardiology and Rehab units at Markham-Stouffville Hospital for the wonderful care and support given to Mum in her last days with us.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to Markham Stouffville Hospital.
Given the current situation we will not be having a viewing or wake. A celebration of Mum’s life will be
held once the current situation clears.
Out of concern for others, we ask that you refrain from hugging/embracing or shaking hands. A nod or
joining of hands would be appropriate. We understand that those who are sick, feeling unwell, vulnerable to sickness, or recently travelled/in quarantine, may be unable to celebrate Mass with us.
A funeral mass will take place at St Patrick’s Parish, 5633 Hwy 7, Markham on Thursday 19th March, 2020 at 10:00AM; followed by an Internment.
