PETERAN, Raymond Gordon - Passed away peacefully on Saturday March 14, 2020 at Sunnybrook's Veterans Centre at the age of 96.
Devoted and beloved husband of 74 years to Shirley (Lewis).
Loving father of Sharon (Gord) Matteer, Linda (Dane) Sommerville and Gordon (Elaine) Peteran.
Doting grandfather of Kristin (Jeremy), Matthew, Jamie (Keenan), Cory (Courtney), Brodie, and Jasmine.
Great grandfather to Sadie, Kolbie, and Jaxon.
Dear brother to Harry (predeceased) and survived by his sister Marie Vincent.
He will be remembered by family and friends for his nurturing ways, special wit and daily piano serenades.He will be treasured forever in our memory.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Sunnybrook's Veterans Centre and Glynnwood Retirement Residence for their care and attention.
There will be no funeral service. Raymond requested that his ashes be scattered which will be carried out by the family at a later date.
