LITSAS, Evangelia 'Angela' - 85 years old, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020 at Michael Garron Hospital with her beloved husband of 58 years Dimitrios by her side.
Evangelia, daughter of the late Thomas and Vasiliki Dimitropoulos, is survived by her three daughters, Cathy, Vicki and Effie, sons-in-law Gary and Stephen, brothers Christos and Alexandros, and sisters-in-law Thomai, Antheia and Maria.
Evangelia was a devoted grandmother to Richard, Helene (and husband Andrew), Angelika, Domenico, Anastasia, Kate and Lia, and much loved Tetta and Thea to many nephews and nieces.
The family extends heartfelt appreciation to the professional medical staff of Michael Garron Hospital and Providence Healthcare for their high quality care.
In respect of the current public health situation, a private immediate-family only funeral will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church followed by burial.
Expressions of sympathy may be organized through the Heritage Funeral Centre at www.heritagefuneralcentre.ca.
A public mass will be held at an appropriate time to honour Evangelia’s life and celebrate her eternal soul.
