Baxter EthelineBAXTER, Etheline Ivylin - Westmoreland, Jamaica January 12, 1926 - April 10, 2020 - Loving Mother, Grandmother, Auntie, sister and friend passed away at Scarborough Grace Hospital on April 10, 2020 at the age of 94.

She was predeceased by her husband John Baxter.

Born and raised in Westmoreland, Jamaica, she lived in a small community in the country, until moving to Kingston Jamaica at the age of 20. She worked as a dress maker until moving to Toronto, Canada to pursue a career in nursing. She studied to be a nurse and worked at Toronto East General for many years.

She was a supportive sister to Allan, Dorthy, Shirley, Pansy and Keith.

Predeceased by Zena-Lee, Tomlian, Lloyd and Ninetta.

She was a devoted mother to both her children, Una and Rainford.

She was a loving grandmother to Neal, Renae, Nigel, Steve, Jay, Shaina, April, and Deanna and Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an active member in her community and supported various charities. She was also a devoted member of her church; Knox Presbyterian. She loved sewing, travelling and taking care of her garden. She led by example. There was never a job too large or too small that she would not tackle. She was a strong, determined and independent woman.

She will be dearly missed by her family and numerous friends.
